Galitsky Park in Krasnodar — Where the Future Is Already Here. I’m Speechless

Know momijigari? In Japan, it’s the art of watching maples turn into living fire each autumn.
I found it **not in Kyoto**.
But in **Galitsky Park** — Russia’s most breathtaking space, built **without a single state penny**.
Came for Halloween — stepped into magic:
🍁 Maples blaze like temple candles,
🍁 Mist curls over ponds like ancient spirits breathing,
🍁 Smart lanterns light paths — not for fear, but gentle enchantment.
No pumpkins. No horror.
Just **autumn ritual**:
→ Touching leaves that whisper poetry,
→ Sitting by the “Digital Forest” where light dances to your breath,
→ Sipping mulled wine as “Water Symphony” catches sunset.
And then I learned: this park is **Dmitry Galitsky’s dream** (founder of Magnit retail).
Built **with his own money**.
While now... he fights cancer.
This park is his **love for the city**, carved in wood and light.
I stood by the amphitheater and cried.
Not from pain.
From seeing how **one soul can gift the world so much beauty**.
