National Planetarium in Kuala Lumpur: The mysteries of the sky, opening up new horizons

#Kuala Lumpur Attractions

The Planetarium is located in a highland park in downtown Kuala Lumpur. The entire building looks like a hovering flying saucer, full of modern style. As soon as you enter the museum, the first thing that catches your eye is the planetarium in the center. On the top is a large circular projection screen with a diameter of 15 meters, which is enough to project a realistic starry sky scene.

We participated in the "Big Bang Guided Tour" activity in the museum. Covered by the panoramic dome, you will feel as if you are in the ethereal space, watching the process of the formation of galaxies from the Big Bang to the present universe. Through 3D projection technology, we even saw the shocking scenes of black hole formation and supernova explosion.

In addition to the astronomical exhibition, there is also a space history museum and a virtual rocket experience area. I also had a rare glimpse of the real appearance of the astronaut cabin and personally experienced the magical visual effects of being affected by gravity in space. What I liked most was experiencing the process of controlling a remote-controlled rocket simulator and feeling the joy of being a space agent.

Through this colorful tour, I not only gained a deeper understanding of astronomy, but also gained a new appreciation for my passion for exploring the vast universe. This scientific journey has undoubtedly opened up new horizons and imagination for me.
