One of the very few grilled live eels in Kuala Lumpur

#celebrateit

There was a period of time where my friend and I was hooked to grilled live eel. And there weren’t many places in Klang Valley that did it—in fact only two as far as I knew. So after trying the other one (which we loved a lot), we set out to try this one.

It turned out we didn’t enjoy our visit here, almost for every single item we ordered. The grilled eel lack some flavours, and the texture also didn’t set itself much apart from the ordinary eel. And the seafood used in maki and clam pot were clearly not up to standard.

In all fairness, they didn’t taste bad, but prices are high, eg the unagi was triple the price from normal unagi, so yeah, it would only make sense to expect it to taste better.
