Nasi Lemak, Elevated: Nalé’s Upscale Take at Pavilion Damansara Heights

While strolling through the top floor of Pavilion Damansara Heights in search of dinner, we stumbled upon Rakuzen, a Japanese restaurant that looked promising. It wasn’t crowded when we visited, so we were seated immediately and began browsing their menu.
We ordered a BBQ salmon fish head, beef nabe, a salad, and a beef dish. The standout of the evening was definitely the grilled salmon head — beautifully charred, rich in flavour, and perfectly oily (in the best way). The aroma alone was enticing, and the meat was tender without being overcooked.
The beef nabe came with a sweet and savoury broth that was comforting and balanced, and the beef itself was done just right to our requested doneness. Everything was well-prepared and served hot.
Service was attentive and polite throughout our meal, and we appreciated the calm and quiet ambiance of the restaurant. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of food and the location.
A hidden gem for Japanese food lovers looking for a quiet, satisfying meal.
