The Darul Hana Bridge, inaugurated on November 11, 2017, is a striking S-shaped pedestrian bridge that gracefully spans the Sarawak River in Kuching. Its design features two towering steel pylons, each topped with stylized hornbills, symbolizing Sarawak’s emblem.
The bridge connects the southern and northern parts of the city, linking the Kuching Waterfront with landmarks like the Astana and the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building. At night, the bridge is illuminated, creating a mesmerizing visual display that reflects on the river’s surface, making it a popular spot for photography and evening strolls.
With its modern design and cultural significance, the Darul Hana Bridge has become a must-visit landmark in Kuching, offering both locals and visitors a scenic and tranquil crossing over the Sarawak River.
