📅 Itinerary

Day 1: Hong Kong ✈️ Fukuoka, check-in at Toyoko Inn Hakata Station Gion, dinner at Yakiniku Kuramoto Main Store

Day 2: Join a one-day tour (Shirakawa Spring / Takachiho Railway / Amano Iwato Shrine / Takachiho Gorge)

Day 3: Maizuru Park (Cherry Blossom Viewing), Kumamoto Castle

Day 4: Kushida Shrine / Canal City Hakata / Tenjin Underground Shopping Street, afternoon ride on Yufuin no Mori to Yufuin, stay at an onsen ryokan: Oyado Nakaya

Day 5: Kinrin Lake / Strolling around Yufuin / Return to Hakata at dusk

Day 6: Dazaifu, afternoon flight back to Hong Kong

🏨 Accommodation Recommendation: Yufuin Onsen Ryokan - Oyado Nakaya, featuring only 7 guest rooms. The onsen includes separate male and female baths, as well as a private bath. The female bath has an open-air bath. With fewer guests, we enjoyed soaking both at night and in the morning without encountering anyone. The hostess is very nice.

🍴 Food Recommendation: Yakiniku Kuramoto Main Store, reasonably priced and delicious. Reservations can be made via Google. It offers private rooms for a high level of privacy.

📌 Practical Tips: There are several 100-yen shops around Hakata Station, including Daiso, Seria, and 3coins, which are great choices for affordable shopping.
