Rongcheng City's Colorful Stone Scenic Tourist Area is located on the southeast coast of Weihai City, Shandong Province, 30 kilometers away from Liugong Island Scenic Tourist Area and 10 kilometers away from Chengshantou Scenic Tourist Area. It is located on a major transportation route and covers a total area of 600 hectares. It is famous both at home and abroad as "China's No. 1 Strange Stone on the Sea" - Colorful Stone as its landmark attraction. It is organically combined with natural scenery such as Gushan Peninsula and the 10,000-meter sea bathing beach, as well as numerous cultural attractions to form an excellent holiday tourist destination on the northern coast of my country.
The iconic attraction in Rongcheng Scenic Area - the spotted colored stone was formed by tuff, a volcanic rock that erupted from a volcano during the Yanshan period of the Cambrian period more than 500 million years ago. It is a rare treasure among my country's marine erosion landforms, with extremely high scientific research and historical and cultural value. It is also the only marine wonder stone on the 18,000-kilometer coastline of mainland my country that combines sea stacks, sea erosion patterns, and sea erosion pumice.
