Shenkeng Waterfall & Cliff Panoramic View! A Must-Stay Hotel for Hotel Enthusiasts

Hidden at the foot of Sheshan Mountain, Tianma Mountain Shenkeng, at an altitude of -88 meters, is a hotel that subverts traditional architectural concepts. It is the only five-star hotel in the world built in an abandoned mine pit and has been praised by National Geographic as a "world architectural wonder." From an aerial view, it looks like an alien building embedded in the cliff, coexisting with nature and reflecting the waterfall!
The design of the hotel is inspired by the "Garden of Eden," turning the 88-meter-deep scar into a treasure! CCD Hong Kong Cheng Chung Design (CCD) has given the interior a "mineral aesthetic," with exposed rock walls and flowing lines intertwined, a spiral walkway suspended on the cliff, and a glass waterfall running through the building. When night falls, the cliff light show and the shimmering waves of the underwater restaurant resemble a scene from a sci-fi movie.
The hotel has a total of 336 rooms, divided into 2 floors above ground and 15 floors underground. The underwater suite uses "aquarium technology" to create a magical experience: lying in bed, schools of fish swim through the glass dome above, as if you are in the ocean. Some rooms face the waterfall directly, and when you open the window in the morning, you will see the misty deep valley.
Take the transparent elevator directly to the bottom of the pit, take pictures of the cliff waterfall and rainbow wonder on the scenic walkway, and the hotel's photography service will capture every breathtaking moment.
