Yuantang Temple, an ancient temple in Kunming 🙏🏻✨

Yuantong Temple is the largest and oldest temple in Kunming, over 1,200 years old. This temple is the center of three sects of Buddhism, a combination of Thai, Burmese, and Chinese (Tibetan) temples. The Golden Pavilion is located in the wealthy part of Kunming, and Yuantong Temple is also located in the power part of the city. The temple's name comes from the name of Guan Yin.

The atmosphere inside the temple is quiet, shady, and has a classic, old, and beautiful atmosphere. Inside, there are replicas of Thai Buddhas such as Phra Buddha Chinnarat and the Emerald Buddha.

This is another place that I recommend visiting if you come to Kunming. ☺️
