A natural scenic gem

Dianchi Lake, the largest lake in Yunnan and the eighth largest in China, offers stunning views with the Western Hills as its backdrop. Often called the “Pearl of the Plateau,” it sits at an altitude of about 1,886 meters. The lake is famous for its migratory seagulls in winter. Despite past pollution, restoration efforts continue. Walking along the shore, I enjoyed the fresh air and the serene beauty of the landscape.
