📍 Day0️⃣ Fly to Kunming after get off work
✈️ Take a 3.5-hour flight from Jinan to Kunming Changshui Airport, then take the Airport Express Line 2 (fare is about 25 yuan/person) to check in near Kunming Railway Station.
🍱 After arriving, don't forget to taste the local specialties such as fried pancakes, fried pancake shreds, fried potatoes and fried rice noodles to warm up for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday and feel the passion and warmth of foreign food.

📍 Day 1️⃣ Depart from Kunming and visit Dali Ancient Town
🚌 At 9 am, I took a Didi bus from Walmart in China World Trade Center and arrived at Dali Ancient Town in about a few hours. During the Dragon Boat Festival, Dali's March Street is bustling with various small vendors, displaying a wide variety of local fruit snacks and handicrafts.
📍 It was my first time to taste Dali’s specialty mushroom hotpot. In the atmosphere of the Dragon Boat Festival, everyone sat around happily and waited for 20 minutes for the hotpot to start cooking. It warmed our stomachs and hearts.
📍 Rent an electric bike in the evening and ride along the Erhai Lake, from Longkan Wharf to Cai Village. The sunset slowly sets, and the lake and mountain scenery blends perfectly with the tranquility of the festival.
📍 Return to the ancient city in the evening to visit the night market, taste grilled milk fans, baked cakes and special snacks, and listen to folk music in the bar, making the Dragon Boat Festival more colorful.

📍 Day 2️⃣ Slow tour of Dali, return to Kunming for cultural exploration
🚌 In the morning, take a slow tour around the East Gate of Dali Ancient Town and feel the comfortable atmosphere of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Then take the bus back to Kunming (ticket is about 50 yuan).
📍 After arriving in Kunming, head to the Old Street to taste Dai cuisine. The refreshing taste of lemon and mint leaves is unforgettable. You can also visit the Paper Building and the Jacaranda flower sea on Huanggong East Street. The flowers are in full bloom and colorful during the Dragon Boat Festival.
🏛️ Visit the former site of the Yunnan Army Academy to learn about the history of the Chinese Expeditionary Force and inject deep cultural heritage into the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
🚖 In the afternoon, I took the subway to the airport, preparing to catch the 17:15 flight back to Jinan, ending my three-day and three-night Dragon Boat Festival slow tour in Yunnan.
