Ten-day tour in Yunnan

Atypical tourist special forces soldier, I want to change the environment and relax. I have always longed for Yunnan. After seeing the air ticket price and local temperature, I set off from Sydney without hesitation.

Day 1: Landed in Kunming at 10 am and checked into AnnanasCamilia. After lunch and a rest in the afternoon, I set off to Kunming Old Street-Cuihu Park. After eating rice noodles in the evening, I had a massage and ended the first day of traveling.
Day 2: I wanted to go to Dianchi Lake in the morning, but the weather was not good. The occasional rain disrupted the plan, so I continued to walk around the city of Kunming. In the afternoon, I took the high-speed rail from Kunming to Dali. Here I suggest that you don’t be solicited to take the bus or carpool at Dali Station. It costs about 30 yuan to take an online taxi, and you don’t have to wait. It is cost-effective. It takes about 30 minutes to drive to the homestay at the south gate of the ancient town. Put down the luggage and continue the itinerary of eating and eating. There are all kinds of snacks and Yunnan specialty chain stores in the ancient town. I tried more than a dozen products. I recommend flower cakes and Yunnan ham. Souvenirs are a matter of opinion. Some small things are quite memorable. I walked slowly from the South Gate to the North Gate and accidentally entered a supermarket. I bought evening specials on salads and fruits. It was cost-effective and delicious!
Day 3: I rented a small electric donkey to continue to visit the places near Dali Ancient Town, but because it was still raining intermittently, we did not go to the popular Longkan Wharf, S Bay, etc. Instead, we went to a coffee shop to taste ☕️ and listen to the rain. In the afternoon, I rented a tram to Haidong. I passed by Xizhou Ancient Town and turned in to take a quick look. Because of the rain, I wanted to do tie-dyeing, but the random store I entered didn’t seem to want to do business, so I ran away... Fortunately, I drove directly to the next hotel to check in early. Reading the Sea Listening to the Words The most satisfactory hotel I have stayed in during this trip, facing Erhai Lake, the scenery is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is great. It is very suitable for lying down. We wandered around Wenbi Village for a while, had dinner, and took a bath in the evening. 🛀 That was the end of the day.
Day 4: Haidong was relatively scattered, and some of the attractions were man-made. We skipped them all and decided to head to Tengchong. The highway is quite dangerous compared to the eastern part of China, especially in the mountains, where fog is easy to form and visibility is less than 5 meters. Before going to Tengchong, we stayed in Baoshan for one night because we wanted to check in at a few coffee shops. We stayed at Atour and had a barbecue meal on the street. The consumption level was much lower than that of other tourist cities, but it was also delicious.
Day 5: We visited a few coffee shops in Baoshan. Maybe because we had too high expectations, we were a little disappointed. It may also be because we came from Australia and are used to Italian espresso + soy milk. Compared with various special blends, we still prefer traditional milk coffee. Then we drove to Heshun Ancient Town and officially arrived at the last stop of this trip - Tengchong.
Days 6-8: The Heshun Ancient Town was quiet and pleasant in the early morning. There were not many tourists entering yet, so it was a different experience. From this, we can see why it can be rated as a 5A scenic spot. We took a cruise around the lake to enjoy the flowers and watches. It was extremely peaceful and comfortable. Then we spent another day visiting Gaoligong Mountain. Looking at the scenery that is completely different from Australia, I felt very relaxed. 😎 We skipped the Rehai Scenic Area and Mangshi on this trip, but it was not a pity. Only with expectation can we have the desire and motivation to set off next time.

💰Per capita consumption: In addition to the round-trip air tickets to Kunming, the average per capita outcrop is 4k+
💞Recommendation reason: Pleasant scenery, fresh air, suitable temperature
