Exploring downtown Kunming

We decided to walk from our hotel community near Jinma Biji arches to Green Lake park in downtown Kunming. Along the way we found some famous buildings. There is a large war memorial, with a memorial hall/museum. On one side of this memorial are these two very skinny buildings on either side that are very popular for photo opportunities. There is also a rock pool fountain across the road in the pedestrian square.

We also found this very large ornate international christian church which looked like a building out of harry potter.

There is a lot to see in downtown kunming so it's definitely worth walking around to see what you can find.
