Located at the intersection of Guoji Road and Zhongfangyuan Road, the Zhengzhou Oceanarium comprises six subdivided venues: the Freshwater Biology Hall, the Marine Animal Performance Theater, the Coral Reef Biology Hall, the Undersea Tunnel Hall, the Ocean Theater, and the Caribbean Town. The Zhengzhou Oceanarium project is being implemented in two phases. The first phase, covering 10,000 square meters and housing over 800 species of marine life, will open during the National Day holiday. The second phase, covering 50 mu (approximately 1,000 square meters), will primarily house polar marine animals such as whales, dolphins, walruses, sea lions, penguins, and polar bears.
You can admire tropical freshwater fish in the Tropical Rainforest Pavilion, observe shallow-water coral reef fish in the Coral Reef Pavilion, and collect shells and weave fishing nets in the Marine Folklore Pavilion. Most impressively, the Undersea Tunnel Pavilion features a 70-meter-long underwater tunnel. While walking through it, visitors can not only see sharks, rays, and other large marine fish swimming overhead and around them, but also enjoy a large-scale "mermaid" performance.
