Jinxi Ancient Town, Millennium-Old Guliang Bridge

✅ When you enter Jinxi Ancient Town in Kunshan, Suzhou, the first thing you will see is the Guliang Bridge lying across the wide lake.

✔️ Guliang Bridge was built in the Song dynasty and has a history of over 1,000 years. The bridge is 52 meters long and has a unique and ancient design. The bridge is made up of a long corridor, with pavilions with flying eaves and upturned corners connected to the corridor bridge, resembling a phoenix with its wings spread.

🌈 Guliang Bridge spans between Guliang Pond and Wubao Lake. The lake water ripples, and the willows on the shore sway. The bridge and the lake together form a Jiangnan ink painting, making it the most representative landmark of the ancient town.
