Stay in a heavenly homestay in Zhouzhuang! Here's a 2-day, 1-night guide for the lazy traveler

I just got back from Zhouzhuang! I found a treasure of a homestay that I want to keep secret!

✅ The butler service is so attentive! They contacted me in advance to arrange a shuttle, and I was at the entrance to the ancient town in seconds after getting off the car.
✅ The rooms are in a simple, log cabin style, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the river view of the water town, and the bedding is super comfortable.
✅ The best thing is the breakfast! You can choose between special Aozao noodles or a Western breakfast + fresh fruit + freshly ground coffee. You won't get tired of eating it for three days in a row!

📌 Zhouzhuang Travel Tips:
❶ Must-see spots: Take photos at Double Bridge → Visit Shen Hall to see the residence of the richest man in Jiangnan → Take a gondola ride and listen to the boatman sing a ditty (highly recommended to visit at night!)
❷ Food recommendations: Wansan Pork Knuckle (sweet, glutinous, and not greasy), qingtuan (sweet green rice ball), Grandma Tea
❸ Tickets are CNY 50 on weekdays (no tickets required after 5pm)

✨ The joy of living in a scenic area:
No need to rush in the morning to avoid the crowds! When you open the window in the morning, you'll see a picturesque scene of houses along the river. In the evening, you can watch the sunset turn the lanterns red on the terrace, which is super healing.
