The Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Capital Museum is located on the banks of Yingxiong Mountain, nestled between the mountains and the water. It is majestic and ancient, with Fenghuang Mountain and Yingxiong Mountain on its north and south sides, respectively, both boasting verdant pines and cypresses, creating a picturesque scene.
The museum covers an area of 230 acres and was built in October 1985. In 2001, the Hero Square and the gate were expanded again and the exhibition content was adjusted.
The museum's primary exhibition, "Stormy Dabie Mountains," is divided into four sections: the formation of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area; its unprecedented development, with Xinji becoming its capital; the reorganization of the Red Army and the persistence of the struggle in the Dabie Mountains; and the unfurling of the red flag, welcoming the victory of the national revolution. The museum's thematic exhibitions are divided into two sections: the first, "The Cradle of Generals," is divided into two halls. The first hall showcases the deeds of generals from Xinxian; the second hall features the life stories of leaders at the provincial and military levels and above. The third section, "The Rise of Xinxian," reflects on how, under the leadership of the Party, the people of Xinxian have inherited revolutionary traditions, worked tirelessly, and achieved rapid social and economic development, showcasing the new face of Xinxian today. The museum also displays the "Draft Land Law of the Chinese Soviet Republic," which is inscribed on the wall.
