South Xinjiang Travel | Kizilia Scenic Area.

✈️ I traveled to South Xinjiang in mid-September. The weather was moderate. The Duku Highway may be closed in a few days due to the drop in temperature, which will cause inconvenience in transportation and less beautiful scenery.

📍 Kizilia is the only scenic spot on the Duku Highway that allows self-driving. A few days ago, there was a heavy rain in the evening. The most famous No. 3 and No. 4 valleys in the Wensu Grand Canyon were temporarily closed. Therefore, I could only visit the No. 2 valley in the Wensu Grand Canyon the day before, but I could not see the whole picture. There were also many tourists, and it was difficult to avoid the crowd when taking pictures.

So the next day, on the way to the Tianshan Grand Canyon, the driver suggested that we go to Kizilia. The ticket price is lower than that of Tianshan, but you need to buy an additional ticket for the vehicle to enter. This is also reasonable. The total ticket price for four people is lower than that of Tianshan. After driving into the scenic spot, I was surprised to find that the experience in Kizilia was better, and there were very few tourists. I could really get close to nature and feel the openness.
