Seto Ohashi Bridge at a Glance! Washuzan Observatory

This is a spot where you can take in the Seto Inland Sea National Park, Japan's first national park, all at once. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop where you get off.

The Seto Ohashi Bridge, visible even from an airplane, and the Shikoku region spread out before your eyes, making it a great place to visit on the first day of your trip. It’s the perfect spot to admire the Seto Ohashi Bridge, which you’ll frequently see during your travels, and the areas you’ll be exploring.

: Take the S1 bus from JR Kojima Station and get off at the Washuzan Observatory stop.

⚘ Tip
: The train to Kojima Station uses the lower level of the Seto Ohashi Bridge. You can experience traveling across the bridge even without a rental car!

Keep in mind that the train intervals back to Takamatsu are long, and since you’ll be heading to the top of a mountain, it’s a good idea to check the bus and train schedules in advance. If you’re using public transportation, it might be difficult to catch the sunset.
