A stroll along the riverside in Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay's business district

After the reconstruction of Kwun Tong's reservoir, the area has taken on a new look. Having lived here for some time, I am familiar with the local culture. You can enjoy festive mooncake-style red bean buns at tea houses during the Mid-Autumn Festival, or try street snacks like rice rolls and dumplings. For a different taste, visit Japanese eateries for chicken rice. Nearby, the Kwun Tong Promenade has become a popular tourist destination in recent years, with new murals under the bridge representing the essence of the area. Kwun Tong is also an important business hub, where you can savor Thai-style two-dish rice meals. Additionally, the area is close to Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay's business centers. Don't miss the East Kowloon Center's art district and Zero Carbon Building to experience the significance of environmental sustainability. In Ngau Tau Kok Lower Estate, you can explore stories of the past. Fun fact: our Olympic cyclist Sarah Lee Wai-sze was born here, and she continues to pedal her way to global success.
