Yasaka Shrine is known as the god of matchmaking. The summer Gion Festival is a festival of Yasaka Shrine with a tradition of about 1,100 years.

It is wonderful to visit during the day or at night when the festival is full of excitement, but visiting early in the summer when you can experience the solemn atmosphere is less hot and you can enjoy sightseeing with fewer people.

This time, I strolled around from around 5:30 to around 7:00 in the morning, and had a wonderful time.
