Let me introduce you to Kinkaku-ji Temple, officially known as Rokuon-ji! As soon as I bought my ticket and entered, a golden pavilion suddenly appeared before me. The 2nd and 3rd floors of the reliquary hall are covered in gold leaf, each displaying a different architectural style.☺️

The reliquary hall survived the Onin War, which devastated most temples in Kyoto. However, it was burned down by arson in 1950 and rebuilt in 1955, marking a heartbreaking history.😂
