There are three main ways to get to Kyoto's popular tourist destination, Arashiyama: JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, Hankyu Arashiyama Station, and Keifuku Electric Railway Arashiyama Station (Arashiyama Arashiyama).

Each station has its own characteristics, but I think Arashiyama Station has the best location and atmosphere.

It is also home to Kimono Forest, and is conveniently located just a 2-3 minute walk from Daikakuji Temple. There are many restaurants on the premises where you can eat while walking around, so you can enjoy your waiting time!
