I go to Hogon-in Temple every year for its light up. Even though it's the same tree, it shows a different face every year.

It seems that the time I went was just right for the opening time, there were not many people, and there was no wind, so I was able to enjoy the autumn leaves at my own pace. There are many souvenir shops in Arashiyama, so they close early, and there are not many restaurants, so my usual route is to eat somewhere else before going.
