Byodo-in Temple Kyoto

The town of Uji makes a great day trip destination from Kyoto.

There are quite a number of temples for you to visit and we decided to visit the Byodo-in Temple.

A beautiful Buddhist temple & it has a beautiful pond and a garden and the phoenix hall have exhibits and artifacts of the temple . Magnificent architecture and not too crowded.
