⛩️ Kinkakuji Temple or Kyoto Golden Temple is a temple with a golden yellow building. Thai people like to call it "Golden Temple". It has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in 1397 as a residence for the shogun. It is beautifully built with fine Japanese art.

⛩️ In the past, this place was used to welcome important guests. Later, it became the current temple. And because of its beauty, it became the prototype for Gingakuji Temple or Silver Temple, which was built later.

⛩️ We traveled to Kinkakuji Temple by bus. When you get there, you have to buy an entrance ticket for adults, 400 yen, and children, 300 yen. After getting the ticket, we walked inside and found the Sekka-tei building, a place for tea ceremonies. The weather at this time (fall) is very good, 10-12 degrees, and walking is not tiring at all.

⛩️ As you walk further, you will find a large Zen garden, a stone pagoda on an island in the middle of the water, and the Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion, surrounded by a pond that reflects the golden temple. It is a very beautiful sight, worth the trip to see.

⛩️ How to get there: Take the train to JR Kyoto Station, take the bus from the station stop, choose Raku Bus No. 101, get off at the Kinkakujimichi stop, and walk for about 5 minutes.
