Hosenin, famous for its framed garden

✔️Take bus no. 16 or 17 and get off at Ohara stop (final stop)

Hosenin is located about a 5-minute walk from Sanzenin,
so tourists who come to Ohara often visit Sanzenin together.

If Sanzenin is famous for its moss garden,
Hosenin is famous for its framed garden.

When you pay the entrance fee and enter, you will see a small garden,
which is said to have been created in the mid-Edo period.

And after passing the small garden and the brazier room,
you will immediately see a room where you can enjoy the framed garden,
and the scenery in front of you...

It made me realize why this place is famous for its framed garden.

When you sit down, you are given green tea and Japanese sweets included in the admission fee.

While drinking warm green tea and admiring the surrounding scenery,
I felt somewhat healed.

The only thing to see here is this framed garden,
but it was worth the 800 yen.
