Momijiya, a great value ryokan in Kyoto - Kaiseki dinner

Momijiya Ryokan also offers kaiseki dinner like other ryokans. One unique thing about this place is that when you eat dinner, if you gather at the hotel lobby, a bus will come and take you to Kawadoko, another space right below the ryokan, to eat. The types of food served at each table are different, so when I asked the staff, they said that they serve different things depending on the room type. In addition to the basic food provided, you have to order drinks and alcohol separately and pay when you check out. (Both cards and cash are accepted.)

Personally, I didn't think the kaiseki I had here in the evening was that delicious, but the atmosphere was so good that I really recommend visiting! If you are someone who thinks that taste is more important, I recommend visiting another ryokan!
