Six Senses Kyoto, Zen Garden, New Place for Cherry Blossom Viewing

Kyoto's newest cherry blossom viewing spot is here, the ancient capital's Zen garden Six Senses Kyoto will open in 2024

The much-anticipated Six Senses Kyoto finally opened on April 23 last month. The first Six Senses hotel in Japan is located in front of Myohoin Temple, just a few steps away from Gion and Toyokuni Shrine. The interior design combines simple lines and warm wood tones, showing the quiet and elegant Japanese style. The guest rooms surround the central courtyard, each with a garden, shrine, city and other landscapes. With the blooming cherry blossoms in spring and the red maple leaves in autumn, you can enjoy the beauty of Kyoto. The luxury suites have private Japanese courtyards. Inspired by folk tales, the moon rabbit and the classic literature The Tale of Genji, Six Senses Kyoto has added some unique Japanese styles, such as house numbers and small ingenuity that can be seen everywhere, all of which carry unique cultural connotations.

Six Senses Spas are based on the Zen concept, combining science, traditional therapies and Japanese Zen culture to provide a personalized experience created by Omakase treatments. Just like handing yourself over to a trusted sushi chef, the experience is tailored for each guest and is tailored to provide you with the right treatment according to the 24 solar terms of the Japanese solar calendar.

Hidden behind an inconspicuous wooden door, Nine Tails Bar is a mysterious place for foxes to gather at night. The hotel's all-day restaurant Sekki takes seasonality and region as the core of its cooking, bringing the farm to the table and allowing you to taste the rich flavors of Japan's seasons.
