I went to Sanjusangendo Temple to buy candy on a clear, sunny day.

On this day, there was also a toothpick blessing ceremony, which was open to the public for free.

The toothpick blessing ceremony is a Buddhist ceremony with a tradition dating back to the Heian period.
The ritual involves pouring water blessed with the toothpick willow, a sacred tree, onto worshippers to remove various illnesses, and is said to be particularly effective against headaches.

It's a very important day for people who suffer from headaches.
There were many worshippers there.
