Amazing visuals!! Duck soba and oyakodon

At Kyoto Kamo Soba Den, located a short walk from Gion-Shijo in Kyoto, you can enjoy the stunning visuals of oyakodon and duck soba.

Since its opening in 2023, there has been a long line, and we visited at 4:30 pm on Saturday, but we were able to enter the restaurant around 6 pm.

Reservations are not accepted, so it is recommended to visit with plenty of time!

We ordered:

・Salted duck soba tsukemen (hot)

・Duck oyakodon

We went in August, and the air conditioning was very effective, so we recommend ordering it hot.

The soba noodles were juicy and delicious with the duck meat, and I felt that it was good value for money. The soba noodles were just average.

The oyakodon had a soft-boiled egg that was just the right hardness, so I ate it up in no time.

The oyakodon and soba set is quite filling, but both are excellent, so I would definitely recommend trying both.
