Kamogawa|🇯🇵A seriously underestimated cherry blossom viewing spot🌸

#京都樱花 Who among my family members understands! What I look forward to most every year is going to Japan to see the cherry blossoms, but when I get into the crowd to take photos, it’s all just passers-by, and it’s impossible to see anything. Fortunately, I found a treasure - Kamo River! A hidden gem of a cherry blossom viewing spot, perfect for taking photos!

🔸The Kamo River is a 31-kilometer-long river in Kyoto City, with exquisite Japanese food restaurants on both sides of the river bank. Beyond those crowded check-in spots, Kamogawa has another more lively and vivid side of Kyoto. Walking along the river bank, you can feel the historical charm and enjoy a pleasant time. It is simply an urban paradise.

📍Take the Keihan Main Line and get off at Demachiyanagi Station, Sanjo Station, Gion Shijo Station, Jingu Marutamachi Station, or Kiyomizu Gojo Station, and you can walk to the Kamogawa River.
📍I strongly recommend walking out of Gion Shijo Station and along the Kamogawa River to the Sanjo Bridge. Along the way, the breeze is blowing, the river is gurgling, and the cries of crows and wild ducks are heard one after another. It is so comfortable that you don't want to leave!

Cherry Blossom Viewing Period: The cherry blossom viewing period in Kansai is approximately from early April to mid-April each year. The cherry blossom viewing period is short, so be sure to pay close attention to the weather and the falling of the cherry blossoms to catch the most beautiful flowering period!
