📍 Arashiyama Bamboo Forest ～ the bamboo grove itself is quite small and often crowded. Arrive early in the morning to take photos with no one else around!

📍 Walk along the Oi River ～ another name for the incredible Katsura river. The water is so blue, it is a breathtaking sight. Head upstream for about 10 minutes and you’ll soon be away from the crowds and find some secret spots with beautiful scenery.
