📍 Arashiyama Park (Togetsukyo Bridge/Katsura River/Hozu River)
A park offering a quaint rural landscape on the outskirts of Kyoto. Originally built in 836, Togetsukyo Bridge looks like a wooden bridge, but its pillars and beams are made of reinforced concrete. 🤣

✔️ Enjoy a boat ride on the Hozu River It's very popular! (Especially cherry blossoms and autumn leaves)

📍Arashiyama Shopping Street
Cross the bridge to Chikurin, where you'll find a variety of food and souvenir shops! Grab a snack and explore!

✔️ Shintogetsu (udon) for lunch!
✔️ Reservations are a must for popular restaurants! Expect long waits.
✔️ Try the Kyoto Latte! Make sure to reserve via app!!!!

📍Chikurin
Arashiyama's #1 tourist attraction, so it's incredibly crowded! The bamboo forest is especially great for parents! (It was quite large, wasn't it? My legs hurt so much I couldn't finish it...🤣) The photo spot at the entrance crossing is especially popular with couples these days!

📍Tenryuji
This Kyoto temple, a World Heritage Site, is worth a visit if you have the time! (I have time🥹)
