Arashiyama @ Kyoto Travel.

Arashiyama is a popular tourist destination in Kyoto, even more popular than Uji! The transportation from Kyoto Station to Arashiyama is very convenient, taking only about 20-30 minutes by train or bus.🚋🚌

This time, we took the Sagano Scenic Railway (also known as the Arashiyama Romantic Train) from Kameoka Station, enjoying the beautiful mountain and Hozu River Gorge scenery along the way. You can wave to the tourists on the boats on the Hozu River and listen to the conductor's beautiful singing. Before you know it, you'll arrive at the final stop, Saga-Arashiyama Station.🚂🌲🍁

From the station, follow the signs to another popular spot - Togetsukyo Bridge. On the way, you'll pass by Tenryu-ji Temple, where you can take a stroll and admire the beautiful Japanese garden and take some memorable photos. Continue walking, and you'll reach Togetsukyo Bridge, where the crowds of people show just how popular this place is!⛩️🏯📷

At Togetsukyo Bridge, you can experience the Arashiyama rickshaw ride, choosing the duration and destination you prefer. The rickshaw has exclusive access to the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, allowing you to avoid the crowds and enjoy the bamboo scenery from the comfort of your seat. The rickshaw puller will also take a series of beautiful photos for you, making it a unique and wonderful travel experience.🎋🍁😍

A day trip to Arashiyama during your Kyoto visit will be a rewarding journey.🩷
