Kyoto Sagano Torocco Train

Enjoy the spectacular views of the Hozugawa River and the changing scenery of the seasons on the Sagano Torocco Train.

The brick-style station building adjacent to Saga-Arashiyama Station on the JR Sagano Line is Torocco Saga Station.

This popular train travels approximately 7.3 km from Saga Torocco Station to Kameoka Torocco Station in approximately 25 minutes!

Cars 1-4 are standard cars, while car 5 is the "Rich" car.

The Rich car's glass ceiling and floor allow for a breeze to pass through, and although it was a bit chilly, the lack of glass windows allowed for a direct view of the beautiful Hozukyo Gorge. ♡
