Kiyomizu-dera Temple

This is one of the most famous temples in Kyoto.
This Buddhist temple is over 1,200 years old.

Located on Mt. Otowa in the eastern part of Kyoto.

This temple is almost entirely made of wood.

Over the centuries,

the temple buildings have suffered from
several fires, and most of the current buildings

have been rebuilt from 1631-1633.

It has become a popular place.
