A Quiet Journey Through Time

#OsakaTrip
In the early morning, I arrived at Shitennoji Temple, an ancient temple founded by Prince Shotoku that carries a thousand years of history. The temple buildings are simple yet full of Zen spirit. I quietly walked along the stone path, feeling the solemnity and tranquility of this Buddhist sacred site. In a corner of the temple, a few monks were chanting prayers, and the clear sound of bells echoed in the air, naturally slowing my pace to savor this rare peace. In the afternoon, I went to Saihoji Temple in Kyoto, known as the "Moss Temple," which seems hidden in time. Upon entering the temple, a carpet of lush green moss covered the courtyard and stone steps, like a delicate ink painting. The stream babbled, bamboo swayed, and the entire temple seemed to merge with nature, allowing one to feel pure Zen. Sitting in the courtyard, quietly listening to the wind and flowing water, it felt as if time itself slowed down, bringing a moment of physical and mental calm.
