One of my favorite hotels in Kyoto / Renovated from a 100-year-old machiya

Accommodations in Kyoto are much more comfortable than in Osaka and Tokyo.
This time, I stayed at my favorite hotel 💗.
Although Candeo is a chain brand, this hotel is renovated from a machiya and has very local Kyoto architectural features.
The front hall has a large public space where you can relax. There is a small bar on the 2nd floor 🍹, where breakfast is also served.
The variety of its breakfast is also among the top of Japanese hotels. The hotel also has a hot spring where you can soak after a tiring day ♨️. It is a real treat to stay in such a hotel in the bustling tourist city of Kyoto.
Staying in such a hotel is really cost-effective ✌🏻.
