Laughing Seat
📍Address: Japan〒605-0078 Kyoto, Higashiyama Ward, Tominaga Higashiru
🕰️Opening hours: 1800-0300
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: This yakitori restaurant in Gion, Kyoto, is an izakaya-style restaurant in an old Japanese house. The atmosphere is cheerful and fits in well with the lively Gion at night. The purple door curtain and weeping cherry trees at the door are quite eye-catching. The triangular window is in a great location, a quiet alley in the midst of a bustling city.
💞Featured recommendation: Xiaozuo specializes in chicken dishes, with various parts and cooking methods available, from the common grilled chicken skewers to chicken sashimi, chicken liver and offal, hot pot, and even horse meat sashimi! The charcoal-grilled aroma fills the air, the locally produced chicken is delicious and cheap, and it’s open very late, making it perfect for a late-night snack. However, the menu is all in Japanese. Fortunately, I can look at the photos on the Internet and use translation software to order, so it is not a problem.
💰Average consumption per person: ¥1000-2000 yen.
🗓️Rating: 4.5 stars (out of 5)
