It's one of Kyoto's most representative landscapes, and a place I've always wanted to photograph.

A nostalgic landscape😍

A canal was built from Lake Biwa to Kyoto City, and the canal passes through the grounds of Nanzenji Temple, so the Suirokaku was built to preserve the scenic beauty.

It's also famous as a filming location for movies and dramas, and it gets very crowded during the autumn leaves, so I'm glad I came during the green leaves season.

The green and red maples were spectacular.
