Since Arashiyama Bamboo Forest was so crowded,
I looked around for a bit and went to
Tenryuji (Cheonryuji) right next door.

Tenryuji is a World Cultural Heritage Site,
and it was quiet and nice because there were fewer people than in the crowded bamboo forest.

If you missed the cherry blossoms, try to see the double cherry blossoms! There were double cherry blossoms inside Tenryuji, so we went to see them together!

There were also many other kinds of flowers.
The garden was also well-maintained~
It was really nice to walk around.

And one of the things to see at Tenryuji is
Sogenchi Pond Garden! This was made 700 years ago,
and it still maintains its original appearance~
I was surprised that it has been maintained like this for 700 years.
