Kyoto: Kiyomizu Temple

Kyoto is such a charming city that makes you want to visit again. One day is not enough to explore everything, especially for a woman in her thirties whose mobility has slightly decreased. I managed to visit only a few places.

The charm of Kiyomizu Temple lies in the bustling atmosphere created by the numerous shops lining both sides of the path in the Higashiyama district as you walk up to the temple. The ambiance is wonderful and picturesque. After that, I had lunch near Arashiyama Park. Once we finished eating, snow or rain started to fall, preventing us from exploring Arashiyama Park and the Bamboo Forest as planned. All we could do was stand and admire the view from afar while waiting for the bus back to Osaka.
