The hotel offered a unique space where both staff and guests had a rich international presence, yet the decor prominently showcased Japanese style. It’s incredibly peaceful, allowing one to forget Kyoto’s overtourism hustle. I enjoyed taking part in the free activities offered. Although it’s a bit pricey, I’ll definitely return when there’s a good deal. An unexpected highlight was the bartender with a cicada tattoo! Despite my dislike for insects, hearing about his fondness for cicadas was a fascinating experience. I was equally amazed when the general manager interacted with guests during breakfast and saw us off at departure. His approach explains why the staff here is so kind and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel to all.
