This trip connects Tenryuji Temple, Nomiya Shrine and Fushimi Inari Chibon Torii. Perfect for morning departure, sunset back to the hotel, comfortable trip and great for photography.

Tenryuji Temple (Arashiyama)
Tenryuji Temple is the largest Zen temple in Arashiyama, certified as a World Heritage Site. The garden view changes with the seasons, with maple leaves in autumn and cherry blossoms in spring. Through the ancient temple hall, you can overlook the mountain view of Arashiyama in the distance, take pictures of the Yamato Garden, the surroundings of the mountain pond are very Japanese ancient charm.

Nomiya Shrine

Kyoto’s landmark-level photo-taking scene, the orange-red Chibon Torii Yanshan Road, is best suited for taking photos with a sense of mystery. The shrine owner prays for a prosperous business and a healthy family. The scene is full of cinematic feel.

One-day itinerary suggestions:
In the morning, visit Tenryuji Temple and Nomiya Shrine from Arashiyama Station, and rest and dine at small shops in Arashiyama Street at noon. In the afternoon, transfer to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, climb the torii gate for photos, and in the evening or return to your hotel or city to continue your trip.
