Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto Premier Twin Room

#OverseasHotels

This is a 2-day, 1-night round-trip flight to Kobe. Arriving at Kobe Airport around 6:15 PM, I'll head to Shin-Kobe and then take the Shinkansen to Kyoto Station, a 27-minute ride. From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto Municipal Subway for Routes 1 and 2 to reach the Princess Hotel.

It's a 6-7 minute walk from Gojo Station and a 3-4 minute walk from Shijo Station. It's also a 4-5 minute walk from Hankyu Karasuma Station, making it conveniently located. Kawaramachi Station is a 15-minute walk away.

The hotel's hidden location off the main street adds to its charm. Seven, Lawson, and Family Mart are all within a 1-2 minute walk. The hotel is located on the 16th floor, offering excellent views from the upper floors, as there are no tall buildings nearby.

The 16th floor is the Princess Suite floor, and the 15th floor is the Executive Floor. These two places were all renovated early this year, so they're all sparkling clean. I booked a Superior Twin on the 8th to 10th floors.

I was upgraded to a Premium Twin on the 11th to 14th floors, with a view of Higashiyama on the 14th floor. After checking in at 8:00 PM, I had afternoon tea and fell asleep around midnight.

The next morning, I woke up around 8:00 AM and had a choice between a Western buffet or a Kyoto cuisine set meal for breakfast. It was a feast of delicious Kyoto cuisine based on obanzai. Check-out was at 11:00 AM, so I checked out at 9:00 AM. Thank you.
