🌸🏯 “Kyoto Emotional Travel Course – Sannenzaka & Ninenzaka, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kamo River”
Kyoto is a city where history is woven into even a single alleyway. Among them, **Sannenzaka (Sanneizaka)** and Ninenzaka are representative traditional streets leading to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Narrow streets lined with stone steps and tiled roofs are lined with Kyoto-style cafes, souvenir shops, and traditional snack shops, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of old Kyoto with every step. Renting a kimono and strolling along these streets creates a cinematic experience.
At the end of the street lies Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of Kyoto's most iconic temples. The observation deck, known as the "Stage of Kiyomizu," is particularly spectacular during cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons, offering panoramic views of the city. During the special evening night opening season, the temple is illuminated with fantastic lights, creating a completely different atmosphere than during the day.
A great place to end your day is the Kamo River. The riverside promenade that runs through downtown Kyoto is a popular healing spot for locals and travelers alike. Especially on summer evenings, you can savor traditional cuisine on open-air tatami (kawadoko) seats along the Kamo River, allowing you to fully experience the leisurely charm of Kyoto.
👉 Recommended Course:
Walk along Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka → Visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple & admire the view → Kimono photo opportunity → Evening stroll along the Kamo River
