Small Towns Near Osaka Recommendation

Let me recommend some small towns near Osaka!
If you're looking for travel destinations near Osaka, how about Kyoto?
I visited Kiyomizu-dera (清水寺 kiyomizudera).

Kiyomizu-dera is a famous temple in Kyoto, Japan, and its name means 'pure water.'
It is popular among tourists as you can overlook the city of Kyoto from its iconic wooden stage.
You can enjoy beautiful scenery in every season, and it is also known as a place to pray for love and good fortune.

However, there are so many people... If you love beautiful landscapes but dislike crowds, I wouldn't highly recommend it. It's truly beautiful, but the sheer number of tourists makes it hard to walk around. There are just too many people... But still, the scenery was breathtaking!

Also, if you're not feeling well, you might want to reconsider visiting. The path to Kiyomizu-dera involves a continuous uphill climb, which can be quite tiring. Especially on hot days, it can be even more challenging. Please keep this in mind when planning your trip. I went with my mom, and she found the walk quite exhausting. 😭

Don't forget to buy dango in Kyoto! Take a commemorative photo with it; it's so cute. 😻 As for the taste, it's quite polarizing, so I can't say much, but since they served it warm, I found it delicious.

Matcha soba is also quite famous, so try it if you get the chance! I couldn't really taste the matcha flavor, but my mom enjoyed it. Personally, I prefer stronger flavors, so I found it a bit bland. Meh.
