[Kyoto Prefecture] A wonderful hotel with excellent access, renovated from an elementary school!

Located on Shijo Kawaramachi and Kiyamachi Street, this lovely hotel is conveniently located with easy access to Gion, Pontocho, and the Kamo River. It also has a restaurant and lounge with panoramic views of Higashiyama.

The hotel is divided into the Main Building and the School House, where you can stay in rooms renovated from an elementary school.

This time, I stayed in the Main Building.
It was my first stay in several years, but the calm atmosphere was just as comfortable.

The lounge, which is only available to guests, offers free drinks, including alcohol, for a limited time.

This is a wonderful hotel that I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy both sightseeing in Kyoto and a hotel stay.
