3 recommended major attractions in Kyoto, Japan❤

#Overseas travel

1. Kiyomizu-dera

If it's your first time to Kyoto, you should definitely visit Kiyomizu-dera. The trees and temple scenery are amazing, and it's a great place to take pictures while walking slowly. It's one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, so I recommend visiting early in the morning because there are so many people!

2. Kinkaku-ji
It's located on the opposite side of Kiyomizu-dera, and you have to transfer buses once to get there in about an hour.
It's said that the pavilion was burned down by a monk's arson, but it was rebuilt in 1955. The splendid golden building reflecting on the water is really beautiful. The admission ticket is in the form of a talisman, so it's good to keep :) If you walk one stop back when you get on the bus, you can sit down!

3. Ginkaku-ji
Personally, I liked Ginkaku-ji more than Kinkaku-ji because it felt more gentle and feminine. It's a great place for a quiet walk, and the garden is made up of sand and moss, which is very impressive. It's a truly healing place... I highly recommend you visit.
